The City of Derby is celebrating Third Thursday and Derby Market on Sept. 17 from 5-8 p.m. at Madison Avenue Central Park, 512 E. Madison Ave. The evening’s entertainment highlight will be the Derby Recreation Commission Sing-off. The Wichita Foundation Amphitheater at Exploration Place is hosting RiverFlix for the 2026 season. The public is invited to bring blankets, snacks and a sense of adventure, with food trucks and seating opening at 6 p.m. The event is free and open to all ages.
